Summary

While No Child Left Behind was intentionally meant to improve the stamina and intelligence of students, it has left many students in the dust in many aspects.  If a student goes to a school that does not make AYP, they could begin programs that not every student needs.  In order to fund these programs, money from other schools could be pulled.  Now that educators feel stressed to meet AYP in math and reading, they are limiting and even eliminating the teaching of other essential subjects that will also help them in life.  Because of NCLB, even special education students must meet up to the general education classroom standards when they might not have the mental capacity to do so.  This act could use a large makeover in order to bring equality to subjects and give out AYP due to a specific student's needs.
